Welcome to iRock. By downloading, installing, or using the iRock application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
iRock provides AI-powered rock and mineral identification. You can capture photos using your device's camera or select images from your photo library to receive identification results. The App also allows you to save identification records, tag discovery locations, and sync data across your Apple devices via iCloud.
By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and that you accept these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
The identification results provided by the App are for informational and educational purposes only. AI-based identification is not infallible and may produce inaccurate results. You should not rely solely on the App's identification for:

The App, including its design, features, code, and content, is the intellectual property of iRock and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
The App uses Apple iCloud (CloudKit) to sync your identification records across devices. iCloud services are provided by Apple and subject to Apple's terms and conditions. We are not responsible for any data loss or issues arising from iCloud service interruptions.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless iRock and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which iRock operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
